I have ADSL2+ so there is no way it should have been this slow, unless the product simply doesn't work. Read more lp me to get it to work intermittently over a year - the only time he managed to get it 'working' it said it was going to take over 3000 days, which is 10 years, to do the initial back up!
It has never worked since - I have had the Engineer on the phone from Seagate since a few weeks after purchasing this product trying to he.
It has achieved none of this, simply because it won't even mount to my Mac, except initially it did 'try' to mount, but it unmounted spontaneously within a few minutes of starting a back up. I mainly wanted it for backing up my Macs (I have two, one for the kids) and apparently it was supposed to be able to back up our ipads too.
I purchased this product some time ago (1-2 years ago) having bought a Mac.
